Laser Vein Treatment.
Clearer Skin.
No Surgery. No Downtime.
Visible veins on your face or legs shouldn’t define how you feel about your skin. Laser vein treatment uses targeted light energy to collapse and gradually clear unwanted superficial veins — safely, non-invasively, and with minimal disruption to your day.
Before & After
Facial broken capillaries and leg spider veins fade progressively as the treated vessels are reabsorbed over weeks. See how skin clarity returns across a full treatment course for real patients at our Houma, Louisiana practice.

You’re Tired of Covering Up What You Shouldn’t Have To Hide
Visible veins are common — and consistently undertreated. Most patients try to cover them with makeup, clothing, or simply avoid situations where they’re visible. There’s a better option: a short, low-downtime treatment that progressively clears the vein without surgery or injections.
Facial Redness & Broken Capillaries
Small visible veins around the nose, cheeks, and chin that make skin look persistently red or uneven. Foundation can reduce the appearance — but laser treatment targets the vessel itself, gradually eliminating the source of the discoloration.
Spider Veins on the Legs
The web-like networks of small visible veins on the thighs, calves, and ankles that show up in shorts, swimsuits, or skirts. They’re rarely a medical concern — but they affect confidence, and laser treatment addresses them effectively without needles or surgery.
Nothing Has Worked
You’ve tried SPF, skincare, color-correcting products — and the veins are still there. Topical products address pigmentation but cannot close a blood vessel. Laser treatment works at the structural level by targeting the vein directly and causing it to collapse and fade.
Laser vein treatment doesn’t just cover the problem — it addresses the vessel causing it.
How Laser Vein Treatment Works
Laser vein treatment uses concentrated light energy delivered precisely into the targeted vessel. The vessel absorbs the energy, heats, and collapses — while surrounding tissue and healthy circulation remain completely intact. Over the following weeks, your body reabsorbs the treated vein and it gradually fades from view.
Why Laser Works Where Products Don’t
Topical products can reduce redness and pigmentation at the skin’s surface — but they cannot close a blood vessel. The visible redness or discoloration from facial veins and spider veins comes from the vessel itself. Laser treatment targets that vessel directly, delivering heat energy that causes the vessel wall to collapse without damaging surrounding skin.
Once collapsed, the treated vein is no longer functional — your body gradually reabsorbs it over the following weeks. The overlying skin becomes clearer as the vessel disappears. This is a fundamentally different mechanism from any topical or surface treatment and produces a different category of result.
Targeted laser energy is delivered into the vessel
The laser is applied directly over the visible vein. Ultrasound gel is used for comfort and to optimize energy delivery. The wavelength is calibrated to be selectively absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessel, not by the surrounding skin.
The vessel heats and collapses
The absorbed energy heats the vessel walls, causing them to collapse. The vessel closes and is no longer able to carry blood flow. You may notice the vein temporarily darken or appear more prominent immediately after — this is a normal part of the process and resolves as the vessel is reabsorbed.
Your body reabsorbs the treated vein over weeks
Over the 4–8 weeks following treatment, your body gradually processes and reabsorbs the collapsed vessel. The overlying skin becomes progressively clearer as this happens. Multiple sessions may be needed depending on the size and number of vessels being treated.

What Patients Gain from This Treatment
Non-Surgical — No Injections, No Incisions
Laser vein treatment is entirely non-invasive. No needles beyond optional topical numbing, no surgical intervention, no anesthesia. The laser works through the skin surface to target the vessel below.
Fast Treatment Sessions
Most sessions take 10–30 minutes depending on the size and number of areas treated. It’s a genuinely quick appointment — you can schedule it around a lunch break or between other appointments.
Little to No Downtime
Most patients return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Mild redness or warmth typically resolves within hours. There is no significant recovery period and no reason to rearrange your schedule.
Targets the Vessel — Not Just the Surface
Unlike color-correcting products or surface treatments, laser vein treatment addresses the vessel itself. The result is the progressive disappearance of the vein — not a temporary reduction in its appearance.
Safe for Face & Legs
Our laser protocols are appropriate for both facial vessels and leg spider veins. Treatment is customized to the area — facial vessels require different settings and technique than leg veins, and we apply each correctly.
Improved Skin Clarity & Confidence
The most consistent patient response after completing treatment: confidence in skin they no longer feel the need to cover. For many patients, this is more significant than the physical result alone.
What Patients Ask —
Answered Honestly
“Will this treat all types of veins?”
No — and being honest about this is important. Laser vein treatment is best suited for small superficial veins: facial broken capillaries, spider veins, and small visible leg veins. Large, bulging varicose veins are not appropriate for this treatment and typically require a vascular specialist. We assess your specific veins at your consultation and will tell you directly if they’re within our scope or if a referral is more appropriate.
“Do the veins disappear immediately after treatment?”
Not always — and some veins may appear temporarily darker or more visible right after treatment before fading. This is a normal part of the process as the vessel begins to collapse and be reabsorbed. Most patients see progressive fading over 4–8 weeks following each session. Multiple sessions are commonly needed for the most complete results.
“Is it painful?”
Most patients describe it as brief warmth or a quick snapping sensation — generally very tolerable. The treatment is fast, and the sensation passes quickly with each pulse. Numbing is available for patients with lower pain tolerance or sensitive areas. Most patients are surprised by how manageable it is.
“Will the veins come back?”
Treated veins that have been fully cleared do not return — once a collapsed vessel is reabsorbed, it’s gone. However, the underlying factors that caused visible veins (genetics, sun exposure, hormonal changes, prolonged standing) can cause new vessels to become visible over time. Many patients return for periodic maintenance to address new vessels as they appear.
Good Candidates — And Honest Exceptions
You’re likely a great candidate if:
- You have small visible veins on your face or legs
- You want a non-surgical, low-downtime treatment
- You have facial redness from broken capillaries
- You have spider veins you want reduced
- You are willing to allow gradual fading over multiple sessions
- Your skin is not currently tanned or recently sun-exposed
Laser vein treatment may not be the right fit if:
- You have large, bulging varicose veins — these require a vascular specialist
- You have recently tanned skin — treatment should wait until skin returns to baseline
- You are pregnant or nursing
- You have certain medical conditions affecting healing or clotting (reviewed at consultation)
- You expect complete removal of all veins in a single session
A photo consultation helps us assess whether your specific veins are the right candidates before you schedule treatment.

What Determines Your Session Length
Your Questions, Answered Directly
How many sessions will I need for laser vein treatment in Houma, LA?
Most patients need multiple sessions spaced 8–12 weeks apart. The exact number depends on the size, density, and color of the vessels being treated, and how quickly your body reabsorbs them between sessions. Small isolated facial veins may clear in 1–3 sessions. More extensive spider vein networks typically require 3–5 sessions. We give you a realistic estimate at your consultation.
Does laser vein treatment hurt?
Most patients describe the sensation as brief warmth or a quick snapping feeling with each laser pulse. It is generally very tolerable without any numbing — and since sessions are short, the total sensation time is minimal. Topical numbing is available for patients who prefer additional comfort support.
Is there downtime after laser vein treatment?
Very little. Mild redness and warmth typically resolve within hours. Some bruising is possible, particularly with leg vein treatments, and may take a few days to resolve. Most patients return to normal activities the same day. We recommend avoiding heat exposure and strenuous activity for 24–48 hours.
Can laser vein treatment treat varicose veins?
No. Laser vein treatment at Roberts Aesthetics & Wellness is designed for small superficial veins — facial broken capillaries and spider veins. Large, bulging varicose veins involve the deeper venous system and require evaluation by a vascular specialist. We will tell you directly at your consultation if your veins fall outside what we can appropriately treat.
How long does it take to see results?
Some patients notice early improvement within days of treatment, but most visible fading occurs over 4–8 weeks as the body reabsorbs the collapsed vessels. Each subsequent session builds on the previous one. Full results from a complete course of treatment typically develop over several months.
Do you serve patients from outside Houma, Louisiana?
Yes. We serve patients from across South Louisiana including Thibodaux, Raceland, Morgan City, and the greater Bayou Region. The short session times and minimal downtime make laser vein treatment practical for patients who travel — most appointments are completed in under an hour including consultation and treatment.

The Standard Behind Every Treatment
Laser vein treatment produces very different results depending on the settings used, the skin type assessment, and the clinical judgment applied to each vessel type and location. The technology is a tool — how it’s used determines the outcome.
Customized Settings by Vessel & Area
Facial vessels and leg veins require different wavelengths, energy levels, and techniques. We assess each area individually and calibrate accordingly rather than applying a single protocol to every patient.
Honest Candidacy Evaluation
We tell patients directly when their veins are not appropriate for laser treatment and provide appropriate referrals. Treating the wrong vessel type produces poor results and potentially harmful outcomes.
